Guy Branston

Guy is a former pro footballer and regular columnist for the Football League Paper who is as uncompromising in print as he was on the pitch. A fearsome central defender, Branno played nearly 500 games at every level from the National League to the Championship, winning promotions with Colchester, Rotherham, Sheffield Wednesday and Kettering along the way. He retired in 2013 and has since worked as chief scout at Notts County, director of recruitment at Chesterfield and loans manager at Leicester City. Guy co-founded the Game Changer Football Agency in 2023 and also runs Sport AI Consultants.
