Ali Al-Hamadi aims to be Stoke City’s hero

On-loan Ipswich Town striker Ali Al-Hamadi is confident he can help fire shot-shy Stoke City to safety in the Championship.
The Potters are the second tier's lowest marksmen, and with a defensive record that is the ninth-best in the division, it’s clear where the issues have lain this term.
That problem seemed to have been exacerbated when 11-goal top scorer Tom Cannon was recalled by parent club Leicester City before completing a £10m switch to Sheffield United.
But Al-Hamadi netted on his Stoke debut last weekend to inspire a 2-1 comeback win at Hull City.
