Wycombe sign Michael Harriman on permanent deal

Wycombe Wanderers have signed Michael Harriman on a permanent deal from QPR, with the defender signing a contact until 2019.

The 23-year-old has been on loan at Adams Park since the beginning of the season and has helped the Chairboys challenge for promotion to League One.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth told the club’s official website, “Michael’s a player I’ve known for a number of years and he was one of my first loan signings when I became manager here. He’s got everything you want from a professional – he gives his all, he’s got bags of ability and he’s a great character to have around the club.

“To be able to keep him here is a fantastic piece of business and I’m grateful for the support of the board who have enabled me to make Michael a permanent signing.”

Harriman came through the youth ranks at QPR but only played two first team games for the West London club. As well as spending time on loan at Wycombe, he has also had stints with St Albans, Gillingham and Luton.

After suffering heartbreak in the play off final last season Wycombe are going for promotion once again and are currently well positioned in 6th place.
