Jim Bentley has been in tough situations on and off the pitch before and come through them – and he believes those experiences can help him keep Rochdale in the Football League.
Heading into yesterday’s crunch home clash against fellow strugglers Gillingham, Dale were rock-bottom of League Two and five points adrift of safety. Things look bleak for the Greater Manchester club, but Bentley is confident he can turn things around and can point to his time at Morecambe as an example of overcoming adversity.
