Aaron Ramsey feared his career could be over following serious injury.

Aaron Ramsey still remembers the moment his world came crashing down during a Premier League game against Arsenal in February 2024.

“I’d got the ball and turned when one of their players tried a slide tackle,” recalls the Burnley midfielder.
“It wasn’t even a foul. I jumped over his foot, tried to push off and just heard my knee pop.”
Ramsey, who’d joined the Clarets in a £14m deal from Aston Villa six months earlier, had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and torn the tendons in his knee.
