FORMER Liverpool and Tottenham star Robbie Keane is being lined up to become the next manager of Preston following the dismissal of Paul Heckingbottom.
But the Lilywhites could face competition from Celtic if the Scottish giants decide to part ways with Martin O’Neill.
Keane, 46, scored 126 goals in 349 Premier League games during a stellar 12-year career in the top flight. He is also the Republic of Ireland’s most-capped player and all-time leading goalscorer.
