A CONSORTIUM including former Brazil striker Alexandre Pato is poised to complete a takeover of Northampton Town this week.

STAR NAME: Former Brazil striker Alexandre Pato

Sports Alpha Capital, which names the ex-AC Milan star as one of its investors, gained approval from the EFL and Independent Football Regulator earlier this month.
Now, in a statement on the Northampton website, it has been announced that a final agreement has been reached with current owner Kelvin Thomas.
