FLYNN’S STAYING WITH THE EXILES

LEAGUE TWO
NEWPORT County have received a massive boost with the news that manager Michael Flynn has signed a new contract until June 2022.
The 38-year-old’s old deal had been due to expire at the end of this season.
Flynn had been wanted by Lincoln and held talks with them last month, before opting against taking charge of the League One club, who have since appointed Michael Appleton.
Instead, Flynn has committed to the club he took over in March 2017 and memorably helped save from relegation.
