I’ve got a player at Sunderland, Tom Lavery, so I watch them regularly and it’s clear as day that the kid’s a star - a super midfield talent with a lot of strings to his bow.
How far he goes is obviously dependent on his growth spurt, his mentality and luck with injuries. Lots of different factors can derail a career.
