EFL clubs have a further financial incentive to make progress in the Emirates FA Cup – the chance of landing a quarter-of-a-million pound jackpot.
The EFL and the FA have reached an agreement whereby a new £250,000 Divisional Progress Prize will be made to the EFL club from each division that goes furthest in the competition.
