The 28-year-old full-back was part of the Millwall side that sealed a return to the Championship via the League One play-offs last season, but left The New Den shortly afterwards when his contract expired.
The 24-year-old forward joined the Tractor Boys in January, on an 18-month contract from Forest Green Rovers, and made 11 appearances for Mick McCarthy’s side.
The 44-year-old links up with former teammate and caretaker manager Paul Warne, and replaces Andy Dibble, who has left the Millers to become Cardiff City’s ‘keeper coach.
