HOGG HITS OUT AT PENALTY CALL AS MULLIN MAINTAINS HIS COOL

NORTHAMPTON boss Chris Hogg slammed the game-defining decision to award Rotherham a second-half penalty.
The Cobblers were the better side in the first half, but failed to make their good play count, before Paul Mullin smashed home a 73rd-minute penalty to decide the game.
“It was frustrating to say the least,” said Hogg. “It was self-explanatory in terms of the drop-off from the first half to the probably a red card. We were the team getting into good areas in the first half and we had full control of the game.
