PRESTON legend Sean Gregan has backed his old pal Graham Alexander to keep the Lily-whites in the Champi-onship.
Alexander, 54, was unveiled as Preston’s new manager this week - sealing an emotional return to the club he represented more than 400 times as a player.
Gregan spent four seasons alongside ‘Grezza’ at Deepdale, skippering the side that won the old Second Division title under current Everton boss David Moyes in 1999-2000.
