THE Premier League has offered EFL clubs an instant £81m payout in a bid to stave off intervention from the Independent Football Regulator.
The 10-year deal - which was agreed by Premier League clubs during the summer - would increase solidarity payments to the EFL by £163m a year by 2028-29 - more than double the current estimate of £134m.
