WIGAN Athletic have paid tribute to “muchloved” goalkeeping coach Kevin Miller, who died this week aged 57.
Miller played in the Premier League for Crystal Palace and made over 700 career appearances as a goalkeeper for Exeter, Birmingham, Watford, Barnsley, Bristol Rovers, Southampton and Torquay.
He joined Wigan this summer having previously worked alongside close friend and current Latics boss Gary Caldwell at Exeter.
In a statement released on Thursday afternoon, the League One club said Miller had passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday night.
