DEAL ME IN: Former Brazil striker Alexandre Pato

FORMER Brazil striker Alexandre Pato is set to become co-owner of Northampton Town after a takeover of the League Two club was rubber-stamped by the Independent Football Regulator.
Pato, 37, is part of the Sports Alpha Capital consortium which has agreed to buy the club from current owner Kelvin Thomas.
Widely regarded as one of the most promising forwards of his generation, Pato scored 57 goals in 125 games for AC Milan before suffering a succession of injuries.
