WILY Richard Keogh admits new-look Walsall’s cohesion has formed faster than expected – and he reckons it will only get better.
The Saddlers are one of only three EFL sides to kick off with four straight clean sheets, a feat made all the more impressive by keeper Jed Ward and four of the seven defenders used being summer arrivals.
Elicha Ahui was already in WS1 but had yet to make his debut and Ward and each of those seven defenders are aged between 22 and 24.
