Sorry tale but Keogh merits fresh chance

RICHARD Keogh’s return to the Championship with Huddersfield Town would, under normal circumstances, be a heart-warming tale. A 34-year-old veteran, battling back from a career-threatening injury, dropping into League One and performing with such distinction that he is granted one last shot at the big time.
The footballing equivalent of Tom Watson at Turnberry in 2009, a write-off rolling back the years to provide a reminder that class is permanent. But Keogh is not Watson, and these are not normal circumstances.
