PRESTON boss Alex Neil rued the scheduling of the third-round matches after seeing his side dumped out the Cup by Premier League Norwich City.
Neil’s side are chasing a Championship play-off place and insisted he had to give his first-team players a break after a run of four games in ten days.
And he saw his weakened team concede a hat-trick from teenage striker Adam Idah in a tie that was wrapped up before half-time.
