COVENTRY goalkeeper Carl Rushworth says a permanent move to the Championship leaders would be “perfect” for his development.
The 24-year-old is at the CBS Arena on a season-long loan from Brighton, where he is under contract until June 2027.
Rushworth has spent seven years as a professional with the Seagulls and amassed significant experience during loan spells at Worthing, Walsall, Lincoln, Swansea and Hull.
This term, he has been an ever-present for Coventry, keeping 13 clean sheets pre-weekend.
