Paul Gallagher has promised to deliver a new era of dominant football after taking permanent charge of League Two Barrow.

The 41-year-old turned out for the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City and Preston North End as a striker.
He was initially brought in as part of an interim coaching team under Neil McDonald following the dismissal of Andy Whing last month.
“First and foremost, I am very grateful and honoured to be head coach of Barrow,” said Gallagher, who will be assisted by his former Preston teammate John Welsh.
