CROSBY GLEE AT AARON CAPTURE

TRANMERE boss Andy Crosby says Aaron McGowan will bring “quality and leadership” to Prenton Park after signing the defender on a short-term deal.
McGowan, 28, was released by Northampton at the end of last season after turning down a two-year contract to be closer to his wife and baby in Liverpool.
He spent four years at Sixfields, making 131 appearances, and was part of the side that won promotion to League One in 2023.
