Walsh keen to grab his Stanley chance

Goalkeeper Joe Walsh is relishing his “crazy” mid-season move to Accrington Stanley.
The 21-year-old has joined John Coleman’s side on an emergency loan from Championship side QPR following injuries to regular No.1 Toby Savin and Norwich loanee Jon McCracken.
“It’s crazy, you have to chuck everything in your suitcase and go up the road,” said Walsh, whose solitary EFL appearance prior to joining Accrington came at boyhood club Gillingham in the 2020-21 season.
