TISDALE’S FOCUS ON STAYING UP

PAUL Tisdale admits Stevenage have “serious work to do” if they are to climb away from the danger zone.
They got off to a flier in the 48-year-old’s first League game in charge against Scunthorpe through a Luke Norris strike, but it was quickly cancelled out and neither side could find a winner.
Having seen his new side knocked out of the FA Cup at Non-League Yeovil, Tisdale was up front about the scale of the task ahead.
“We’ve got serious work to do,” he said. “The players are enthusiastic and receptive – they need to be.”
