BREAK IS PERFECT TIME FOR INJURED OWLS…

SHEFFIELD Wednesday manager Garry Monk has admitted the international break has come at a good time for his injury-hit squad.
The Owls lost Dominic Iorfa, Alex Hunt and Izzy Brown leading up to the clash with QPR and Liam Shaw (ankle) and Liam Palmer (back) during the 1-1 draw last weekend. Wednesday were forced to see out the game with ten men after Tom Lees suffered a groin problem. Monk is confident Iorfa, Brown and Hunt will be fit for the upcoming trip to Birmingham City, saying: “Dom just felt a tightness in a hamstring, it’s not too serious.
