RYAN Lowe admitted it had been an emotional campaign at Gigg Lane after his Bury side secured the runners-up spot with a home draw against the Valiants.
The Shakers have had to contend with ongoing off-field issues, but despite that have marched relentlessly to automatic promotion and fans celebrated wildly on the pitch straight after the final whistle.
