VETERAN striker Luke Varney notched a precious winner as Cheltenham edged a controversial encounter against visitors Yeovil.
Yeovil may have had a feeling it wasn’t going to be their night when Tom James saw his 25-yard free-kick disallowed by referee Tim Robinson due to an off-the-ball foul.
And that would only have intensified when defender James was sent off in the 21st minute for a foul on Cheltenham’s Alex Addai and manager Darren Way was dismissed for his protests.
