DARRELL Clarke has been given the backing of the Bristol Rovers hierarchy, as club chairman Steve Hamer came out to defend the Rovers boss after a poor start to the season.
The Gas were knocked out of the FA Cup by Non-League Barnet on Wednesday, prompting owner Wael Al-Qadi to apologise on Twitter.
