John so proud but U’s come up short

JOHN MCGREAL said he was proud of his Colchester United players after they beat Yeovil Town despite agonisingly missing out on a place in the League Two play-offs.
Tarique Fosu’s brace gave the U’s the victory they needed to keep themselves in the hunt but wins elsewhere for Carlisle and Blackpool put paid to their hopes of a top-seven finish.
