Shaun Derry appointed as new Cambridge United boss

United have announced the appointment of as their new manager.

The 37-year old was previously manager of his boyhood club County and performed a sterling job to keep the in in 2014.

However, Derry struggled last season and was sacked in March after went on a run of only winning three league games in 24 matches.

Derry replaces Richard Money in the dug out who parted company with Cambridge at the beginning of the month.
