AFC Wimbledon bring in Ajayi

Semi Ajayi has joined AFC Wimbldon on a one month loan deal from Cardiff City. The center back had been with Cardiff since moving from Arsneal in the summer.

Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley expressed his delight at the move, telling the club’s official website “We tracked Semi Ajayi when he was at Arsenal last season and the season before. We quite liked him, but he was only young then

“We felt we wanted more competition in (defense). We have strong competition everywhere else and we made a decision to go for it”.

Wimbledon are currently 15th in League Two and face Northampton at home tonight, where Ajayi may feature.
