EXETER CITY manager Gary Caldwell hailed his players for an outstanding achievement as the League One side dumped Championship Oxford United out of the cup with a deserved 3-1 win at St James Park.
Not since the Grecians reached the quarter-finals in 1981 have they gone beyond round three, but Demetri Mitchell’s double – on his 28th birthday – and a Vincent Harper strike sealed a super win over the U’s.
