Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of Ilkeston striker Daniel Udoh for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old turns professional by joining the Alex on a contract set to expire in the summer of 2018 and adds to Steve Davis‘ attacking arsenal alongside Marcus Haber, Tom Hitchcock, Lauri Dalla Valle, and Callum Saunders.
Despite his tender age Udoh has yo-yo’d between clubs since coming through the ranks of Stevenage‘s academy, playing for Kidderminster Harriers, Worcester City, Wingate & Finchley and Grays Athletic en route to signing for the Railwaymen.
So far this season the Nigerian has scored 8 goals for Ilkeston, who play in the Evo-Stik Premier Division – the seventh tier of English football.
Udoh can aim to add to his tally after making the step up when Crewe travel to Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United on Good Friday.
