High-flying Bury have brought in winger Chris Eagles on a contract until the end of the season.
The 29 year-old had been without a club after leaving Charlton Athletic in the summer. Eagles is a product of the Manchester United academy and has also played for Burnley and Bolton.
Bury manager Dean Flitcroft told the club’s official website “(Chris) joins a number of players we have given an opportunity to reignite their love of football
“He is an exceptional talent that needs a support structure that can help him realise his undoubted potential.
“We believe if we can get Chris back to his best then we will have an excellent addition to our already young and talented squad.”
Bury have had a brilliant start to the season and currently sit in 4th place in League One. They face Phil Parkinson‘s Bradford tonight at Valley Parade.
