Former Peterborough boss Robertson joins coaching staff at Southend

Just weeks after being relieved of his duties at Peterborough United, Dave Robertson has agreed to become the Under-21 coach at Southend United.

Shrimpers boss Phil Brown expressed his delight at the appointment, telling reporters “We carried out the interviewing process and Dave was the outstanding candidate”

Newly promoted Southend United currently sit in 17th place in League One and play at home to Scunthrope United on Saturday.
