New on-loan Southampton keeper Daniel Peretz admits he has learned “a lot” from the “world’s greatest-ever” number one – and is determined to carve out a big reputation for himself in the game now.

Peretz has spent the past two seasons as understudy to the legendary Manuel Neuer at Bayern Munich, having signed a five-year deal with the 34-time German champions in 2023 following a move from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
During that time, the Israel international has managed seven appearances for Bayern, including four Bundesliga outings and a 5-1 Champions League triumph against Shakhtar Donetsk.
