Leicester City boss Marti Cifuentes endured a torrid return to his former club Queens Park Rangers and admitted the crushing defeat was hard to swallow.
Koki Saito opened the scoring in only the second minute, and further goals from Richard Kone, Karamoko Dembele and Amadou Mbengue before the break put the hosts in complete control.
Silko Thomas pulled one back – his first goal for the Foxes – by thumping in the loose ball after Bobby Decordova-Reid’s 82nd-minute penalty had hit the post.
