SIDELINED: Pascal Struijk
Leeds United have been rocked by the loss of centre-back and vice-captain Pascal Struijk on the eve of this afternoon’s Yorkshire derby.
The 25-year-old Dutchman had missed just two Championship games as the Whites stormed to the top of the table.
But after feeling discomfort in his hamstring during training on Thursday, Struijk was sent for scans that revealed a tear in the muscle.
He has now been ruled out for three weeks - and the prognosis could yet get worse.
