Great Scott so chuffed to stay put at Rovers

Blackburn centre-back Scott Wharton says the best is yet to come after penning a new long-term deal at Ewood Park.
Wharton, 25, came through the Championship side’s youth system and made his debut in 2016 before spending time on loan at Cambridge, Bury, Lincoln and Northampton.

He broke into the Rovers first-team in 2020 and, after recovering from a ruptured achilles, has made 56 appearances over the past two campaigns.
