Hull City defender Harry Maguire is set to sign for Leicester City in a deal that could be worth up to £17 million.
The 24-year-old joined the Tigers from Sheffield United in 2014, and the Blades are expected to receive a profit thanks to the 10% sell-on clause installed in his Hull contract.
BBC Humberside are reporting that an initial £12m fee has been agreed, with hefty add-ons, and Maguire has already completed a medical at the 2015/16 Premier League champions.
Maguire is capable of playing at the heart of defence or as a defensive midfielder, and played 36 times in the top-flight last season – scoring three goals.
Meanwhile, Hull also have a battle on their hands to keep hold of captain Michael Dawson, with Burnley reportedly keen on the 33-year-old's services.
With the highly-rated Michael Keane linked with moves to some of the country's biggest clubs, the Clarets, who won the Championship in 2016, are in need of some reinforcements and see Dawson as the ideal defensive addition.
