Charlie Wyke has spoken of his delight at being reunited with Leam Richardson at Rotherham United.
Millers boss Richardson was Wyke’s manager at Wigan when the striker suffered a cardiac arrest during a training session in 2021.
Richardson performed CPR alongside club doctors until paramedics arrived, an intervention that Wyke was later told had saved his life.
Wyke - who was subsequently fitted with a defibrillator - has since returned to the pitch and in August won the League One Player of the Month award after scoring five goals in as many games for Wigan.
