Hull City boss Liam Rosenior praised big-spending owner Acun Ilicali after a jaw-dropping January window was capped by the deadline-day signings of Burnley winger Anass Zaroury and Turkish international Abdulkadir Omur.
Omur, 24, won the Turkish top flight with Trabzonspor in 2022, and was watched by some of Europe’s biggest clubs as a teenager. Hull paid a reported £2m for the creative midfielder, who has signed a three-and-ahalf-year deal.
