‘We’ve got to roll our sleeves up and commit’

Leam Richardson hasn’t been short of assistance in the 13 months since his controversial departure from Wigan Athletic.
“People have been very generous,” says the 44-year-old, whose managerial exile came to an end when he was appointed by Championship strugglers Rotherham on Monday.
“I’ve been in and out of so many different clubs, and I’ve spent time with some fantastic managers and coaches.
“Some of them I’ve worked with before, like Paul Cook at Chesterfield. Others not so much. I watched Sam Allardyce and Jesse Marsch at Leeds, which is where I’m from.
