Rotherham have appointed Neil Warnock as manager on a contract until the end of the season.
Warnock replaces Neil Redfearn who was sacked on Monday after only four months in charge, making him the shortest serving manager in Rothehram’s history.
The 67-year-old has a wealth of managerial experience and has been in charge of 14 different clubs during his career. He was most recently put in caretaker charge of QPR earlier in the season following the sacking of Chris Ramsey.
Rothehram are currently sitting in the Championship drop zone in 22nd place following disappointing defeats to relegation rivals Charlton and Bolton in the last two weeks.
Warnock’s first game in charge of the Millers will be against Birmingham City at the New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
