Neil’s so chuffed to stay a Black Cat

Dan Neil says he signed a new deal at Sunderland to help get the club back into the Premier League.
South Shields-born Neil, 21, progressed through the club’s academy and made his debut at the age of 16.

He has since made 95 appearances, registering six goals and 12 assists.

Regularly linked with a move to the Premier League -Burnley tabled a £3m offer in January 2021 - the midfielder has repeatedly stated his commitment to the club and has now signed a deal which runs until the summer of 2026.
