Tony Watt joins Blackburn Rovers on loan

have signed striker Tony Watt on loan until the end of the season.

Watt joined the form Standard Liege in January of last year and has netted seven goals for the South London club.

The 22-year-old spent nearly two months of this season on loan at fellow club , where he made nine appearances. .

The had hoped to make Watt’s stay in a permanent one but these ambitions were scuppered by the Football League’s decision to issue them with a transfer embargo.

The 22-year-old briefly returned to Charlton last week and played for the Addicks on Saturday but it now appears as though his future lies away from SE7.

It is also believed that a future fee has been agreed with Charlton and for a potential permanent deal in the summer.

Blackburn are currently sitting in 18th place in the Championship and face in the tomorrow.
