MARRIOTT HAS BEEN ‘MISSED’

PETERBOROUGH boss Darren Ferguson is pleased to have striker Jack Marriott back in his starting line-up following a lengthy absence with a hamstring injury.The 27-year-old was back on the bench for the first time since September when Posh took on West Brom, coming on with just over 15 minutes of the game remaining.But Marriott started against Birmingham in midweek and opened the scoring after just 16 minutes.Ferguson felt he proved his worth, and said: “You’re seeing the quality that Jack Marriott gives you, he’s been sorely missed.”
