BEN Hamer admits Swansea’s defensive record so far this season is a source of pride, but the goalkeeper says it is a collective effort.
The 33-year-old has kept four clean sheets in his six Championship appearances this season and the Swans now have the most shut-outs in the league – with two more kept by German keeper Steven Benda.
Shortcomings at the other end of the pitch mean Russell Martin’s side found themselves at the wrong end of the table heading into the second international break, but Hamer is pleased they have a defensive foundation to build on.
