MARK Warburton says he is ‘excited by the challenge’ after being appointed QPR’s new manager.
The 56-year-old former Brentford, Rangers and Nottingham Forest boss succeeds Steve Mc- Claren, who was sacked last month following a run of just one win in 15 Championship games.
Warburton, who has agreed a two-year contract at Loftus Road, said: “I am delighted and privileged to be managing this football club.
“When I spoke to QPR they were very clear. They have a solid plan and know what they want.
