RETURN: Steve Bruce

FOLLOWING a mass brawl between Millwall and Everton fans before their FA Cup tie and racist chanting by a minority of Lions fans, there were calls in some quarters for Millwall to be thrown out of this season’s competition.
That, for me, would be a draconian measure and totally over the top. Other punishments perhaps but being kicked out of the Cup has to be the last resort.
Let’s not allow the actions of a few to spoil it for everyone. The players, especially, don’t deserve that.
